"A Grace Disguised" was an honest, raw, and refreshing read regarding loss. I appreciated Mr. Sittser's willingness to open wide his grieving experience. Loss has impacted each of us, and in many different ways and forms. The soul can grow through it or can deteriorate as a result of it. Our, or at least my tendency, is to run from it, but Mr. Sittser reminds you of how important it is to walk right into it!
I hope this book finds it's way into the hands of many others! God used it to nurture my soul mightly!
My dear friend, Chelsey! I was thinking about you today and happened to check your blog. I was touched by your thoughts on that book, A Grace Disguised. My mom died unexpectedly after a car accident last July. It's been an incredibly difficult year. God in His goodness is healing us day by day. He gave us a baby girl, with my mother's namesake, born almost a year later. Baby Elise has brought us much joy. I'll be interested to check this book out. I pray that you and Quint are well and that God is preparing you both for your little one's arrival!
