Our First Glimpse!
One year ago today, we received a phone call that changed our lives completely!
We were told that there was a precious 2 month old boy in Adama, Ethiopia who needed a family.
We responded, almost instantly, we want to be his family!
We are thankful for God's loving kindness in knitting our lives together! And so excited to be celebrating a day, when the longing in out hearts, became a reality!
Here is our first glimpse of Samuel Titus.
Here is our boy today! Praise God for the look that says I am known and I am loved!

Grateful...
Our Pillow Case Dress Fundraiser recently came to an end. The goal was to make and take 50 Pillow Case Dresses to orphans in Uganda. In order to reach our goal, we were hoping for 50 donations. Theses donations would not only provide an orphan with a dress, but would also help with part of the expenses of our adoption.
We are very grateful to say our goal was reached on the final day! We are thrilled and humbled to be taking a suitcase filled with dresses to Uganda. We trust the Lord will use the clothing to bless and minister to the hearts of many precious little children!!
What's in our suitcase? 51 Dresses

Game Day!
We are currently entering our sixth fall in Clemson, which means our sixth fall of Tiger football! It's taken me a bit of time to embrace football in the south, but I have come a long way. Yesterday, I wore orange, went to a tailgate party, I know the Tigers won by 3, and sat with Quintin while "he" watched the game. I am making progress! Maybe next year, I'll take it a step farther, and actually watch a game... or maybe just a play or two! What can I say, I am a tiger fan in progress!
Here's our Little / Ethiopian / Southern / Clemson Tiger!

Just Keeps Growing
One of my favorite things about Samuel's 1st birthday was looking at our pictures of him transforming from month to month. For now, I think I will continue. He just keeps growing! So here's his 13 month old picture! He's a bit serious. I didn't get the slightest grin until the camera came down. This may be why Dada calls him "Serious Joe" once in awhile, or our friend Austin has taken to calling him "Pocket Aces". No telling what he's thinking at moments like this. - Oh how I love this boy!

Army "Alligator" Crawl
Samuel seems to be on verge of walking. Before he gets it, and takes off running, I wanted to capture his army "alligator" crawl. Oh how his precious but tenacious crawl makes me happy!
Taking advantage of a quiet Saturday afternoon with no rain!
